The Jamaica Labour Party is accusing the People’s National Party of purposefully conducting a ‘misleading’ poll during the period when there was discontent about the public sector compensation review and more.

Information Minister, Robert Morgan, who is also the Communications Chair of the JLP, has described the PNP-commissioned poll, as “fictitious and contrived”.

The political strategist noted that the PNP took advantage of a transformational period within the public sector, which sparked significant dissatisfaction with the government.

The poll suggests that if an election would be called the PNP would have ousted the governing JLP.
