JCF gets over 70 Motorcycles

The Jamaica Constabulary Force is now in receipt of over 70 Motorcycles which were handed over to the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB).

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Dr. Horace Chang this morning expressed that the presentation of the motorcycles is a “Testament that the Government remains steadfast in its strategic approach to equipping the police force with the necessary tools to operate efficiently and effectively”.

With this addition, the PSTEB now has 435 motorcycles, which will assist the branch “Significantly as it continues to expand its Quick Response Team. The motorcycles are valued at approximately J$64 million”, says the National Security Minister.

The handover took place this morning at the Office of the Commissioner of Police in Kingston.
