Jamaican pop singer Andon got emotional upon finding out that his new song “Beside Me at Christmas,” is being featured on MTV for the entire month of December.

MTV’s biggest pop features “Today’s best music, brightest stars, and most dance-able hits.”

This is history, as no other Jamaican artiste have been featured on the programme which is aired on Pluto TV.

It is also historic for Andon as it is his first time using his infectious vocals on a Christmas project.

“Beside Me at Christmas” was written by Andon who sees “Christmas as a great time… you get to spend that with friends, your significant other, or just family. This holiday brings a different kind of vibe and I feel it should be embraced.”

The beat was created by a Canadian female producer named Jeia and Andon says he “Literally got this song recorded in about 2 hours.“

It was recorded by Harry J Recording Studio alongside Kalex whom Andon classified as a “genius.” Meanwhile, mixing and mastering were done by Simpac Music.

The song will be aired daily on MTV.
