Jamaica’s women team won bronze in the 4X400m relay final at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games a short while ago.

The quartet of Roneisha McGregor,  Janieve Russell, Shericka Jackson, and Candice McLeod closed well for third in 3:21.24 minutes.

An explosive United States team won gold in 3:16.85 ahead of Poland who crossed in 3:20.53.

McGregor gave the Jamaicans a fast start from lane five before passing on to Russell in third, as the Americans blitz the trail.

Russell closed well for her exchange to Jackson, who backed out in fourth but rallied back to get the final exchange to McLeod.
