Liverpool star Mo Salah hints at a potential exit after sharing that he has yet to be approached about a contract extension despite being in his final year.
“It’s my last year here in the club… now I just wanna enjoy it,” said the Egypt captain Fabrizio Romano reports.
“So far no one in the club has talked to me yet about a contract… so I’m just here saying it’s my last season. New deal at Liverpool? It’s not up to me… but no one has spoken to me at the club. We will see”
The comments come hours following Liverpool’s 3-0 win over rival Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, where Salah was also among the scorers.
New boss Arne Slot who has taken the reigns from long-time manager Jurgen Klopp has yet to comment publicly on the striker’s future.
Salah is the club’s third all-time goal scorer with 213 in all competitions and has been an integral part of Liverpool’s return to dominance in European football over the last eight years.
