Iconic Reggae group Inner Circle is celebrating continued success in music, as their 1992 hit song Sweat (A La La La La Long) is now a gold-certified single in the United States.

According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the cultic classic logged sales exceeding 500,000 units in the USA, as the band earned their second gold-certified track in the market.

The certification marks a renewed wave of interest in the group’s music, as the track also achieved a similar status in the UK two months prior.

The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) verified that the Reggae track had registered the equivalent of 400,000 units sold in the UK on May 12 to become BRIT Certified Gold.

“Sweat,” is the group’s third RIAA certified plaque after also earning gold with Bad Boys and platinum with their Grammy-winning album of the same name.
