With the high level of robbery of armored vehicles delivering cash at banks and ATMs has pushed many to feel the society is quickly heading into a cashless society, Information Minister Robert Nesta Morgan was forced to say no, cash will always be available.

Monday morning he had to pull from his catalog of TikTok videos to respond to the opposition leader Mark Golding saying “digital currency must be an option not a mandate.”

Golding, this morning posted a video showing several headlines of the government placing Wi-Fi around the island and of the Prime Minister talking about the way forward with digital currency.

This forced the Information Minister respond to tell the opposition leader “Good morning sir, You may be interested in this bit of factual information” and posting this video
