Atlanta Rapper Gunna returned to social media for the first time since his jail release in December following a plea deal in regards to conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act charges.
Gunna took to IG on Tuesday in an apparent jab at his critics who have chided him about being a snitch to gain release from jail.
“N****s acting like they switching to a side. But it’s only one side,” he captioned a picture of himself sitting at home.
He also added the hashtags #YslTheLabel #FreeThug&Yak in a show of support for his label boss, Young Thug who remains incarcerated while he awaits trial on Racketeering charges.
The rapper closed the post with, “Gunna Bacc!”

The Gunna was arrested in May of last year as part of a RICO charge along with fellow rapper and YSL label head Young Thug on Racketeering charges.
The Atlanta MC had reportedly received five years in prison for his role in the case however pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, Atlanta’s Channel 2 Action News reported.
As part of the deal, the five-year prison term was commuted to time served, with the balance of his sentence suspended.
The ‘drip or drown’ rapper took an Alford plea, meaning that he pleaded guilty to the one charge while maintaining his innocence on that same charge as a form of self-preservation Pitchfork reports.
The rapper will however have to serve 500 hours of community service during the such time which was stipulated by the courts.
