All entertainers locally and internationally have just over a week to make their Grammy submissions in order to be considered for the prestigious awards.

This year’s eligibility period started on October 1, 2022, and will end on September 15, 2023.

The Recording Academy has made a few changes, cutting the number of nominees from ten to eight in the following categories, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Record of the Year, as well as Best New Artiste.

Another change is that of the debut of three new categories: Best African Music Performance, Best Pop Dance Recording, and Best Alternative Jazz Album.

The 66th annual Grammy nominations will be announced on November 10, ahead of the live event set for February 4, 2024.
