Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the prices of gasoline, and an increase in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, June 23.
The latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam indicate that 87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $215.39 and $220.40 per litre, down by $0.25.
Automotive diesel fuel, meanwhile, is expected to be sold for $227.51 per litre after an increase of $4.50. Ultra-low sulphur diesel has gone up by $4.50 and will be sold for $230.24 per litre.
The price for kerosene increased by $4.50 and will be sold for $201.80 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum, in the meantime, will be sold for $72.83 after a decrease of $2.19, while butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $81.93, going down by $2.50.
Marketing companies and retailers are expected to add their respective mark-ups.
