Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps for the prices of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, December 2.
The latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam indicate that 87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $159.44 and $164.88 per litre, down by $0.25.
Automotive diesel fuel, meanwhile, is expected to be sold for $156.99 per litre after a decrease of $3.06. Ultra-low sulphur diesel has gone down by $0.41 and will be sold for $164.21 per litre.
The price for kerosene decreased by $3.06 and will be sold for $134.75 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum, in the meantime, will be sold for $73.37 after a decrease of $0.87, while butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $83.59, going up by $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers are expected to add their respective mark-ups.
