Actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, most known for his role as “Theodore Huckstable”, on the classic 80’s sitcom “The Cosby Show, has reportedly died following accidental drowning.
The specifics around circumstances of his reported death have yet to be revealed or confirmed as per TMZ, which first broke the news on Monday.
Notoriously private about his personal life, Warner is seemingly survived by his wife and daughter.
While he is most recognised for his breakout role, loveable yet curious and sometimes naive, Theodore, on the popular 80’s show, he has snagged solid recognition for credits as the voice of THE Producer from 1994-1997 on The Magic School Bus, before costarring on Malcolm & Eddie opposite Eddie Griffin from 1996-2000.
He also gained acclaim for his most recent roles in popular drama medical The Resident and 9-1-1.
Warner was also a Grammy winner, picking up the Best Traditional R&B Performance alongside Robert Glasper Experiment featuring Lala Hathaway for the song Jesus Children in 2015
He was 54 years old
