The talismanic form of Reggae Boyz striker Dujuan “Whisper” Richards for Chelsea’s U-21 team has not gone unnoticed after being nominated for the “Player of the Month Award” for April in the Premier League 2.

The striker was among the eight nominees revealed by the Premier League on Thursday.

Richards, who officially started his career with Chelsea’s U-18 squad, has enjoyed a spectacular start to life in the club’s second team and helped them to an unbeaten run in April. His credits for the month include three goals and two assists in four games to be listed among the most impactful players in the youth league.

The winner, selected by a Premier League Football Development Panel, will be announced next week.
