Burgeoning producer and selector, DJ Mac was hit with a power cut as he attempted to turn up a corporate event in Kingston on Tuesday night.

Dj Mac was the main DJ at Campari’s launch event dubbed ‘Level Up Your Summer’ which was to announce their partnership with Dream Entertainment for Dream Weekend 2023.

Following the formalities and a performance from Chronic Law, MC Badda Bling handed over the stage to Dj Mac who kept everyone dancing and vibing until he asked the crowd if they were ready to turn up the vibes while teasing the ‘Drift’ instrumental. However, a stroke of bad luck hit the Dj as the entire building plunged into darkness – power cut!

For some present at the launch, the power cut was convenient timing or bad luck as there has been a brewing dispute between Dj Mac and Teejay about the ownership of the single Drift. Just recently, Teejay went live to explain who actually owns the production of the song following claims by Dj Mac that he is the rightful owner.

Sleek Ent attempted to interview Dj Mac however he declined to speak on the matter.
