Donald Trump arrested; arraignment underway

Former President of the United States, Donald J Trump has been arrested and arraignment is underway in court. He is officially the first president to face criminal charges.

According to a CNN Report, the indictment is expected to be unsealed today, providing the first public details about the specific charges.

It is understood that Donald Trump will face more than 30 counts related to business fraud as part of a probe into hush money payments made to an adult film actress in 2016.

Reports suggests that Trump is expected to plead not guilty on the matter and challenge the charges.

News outlets will not be allowed to broadcast the arraignment.

In the meantime, Trump posted on Truth Social as he was en route to the Manhattan District Attorney’s office and courthouse ahead of his arraignment.
