Conflicting reports emerge about Adele’s Vegas residency postponement

Following Adele’s last-minute postponement of her Las Vegas Residency at the Caesars Palace, due to COVID-19 concerns among the crew, claims have now reportedly surfaced countering that reason.

Last week, a tearful Adele shared the news of the pushback citing caution from a possible spread [of the virus]. However, this week, members of the show’s production team have allegedly revealed that it was is due to the singer not being happy with aspects of the production.

Popular American media outlet TMZ shared that the ‘Easy On Me’ singer was anything but that. According to reports, she has been displeased with areas of the production, including the choir, the sound system, and other aspects connected to the show, which ultimately lead to her cancellation at the 11th hour.

They also shared that the folks at the Caesars, [where Adele was slated to start her residency], were shocked by her demands, despite assiduously trying to satisfy the outlined requirements for the show.

The reports also shared that while they can’t speak for the British singer’s crew in regards to any COVID outbreak, their crew was willing and able to undergo any protocol and testing which would make her comfortable.

Adele’s team has yet to officially respond to the claims.
