2022 NBA finalist Boston Celtics reaffirmed their control over the Eastern Conference following their 107-99 victory over Chicago Bulls at TD Gardens, Boston on Monday.

The Celtics who have been one of the most dominant teams in the underscored that record with another commanding home performance.

Boston bagged the first quarters -28-25 in the first, 31-25 in the second, and a more competitive 25-23 third quarter effort.

Jayson Tatum led that charge with 32 points and eight rebounds for the Celtics.

Despite surrendering the final quarter by close 23-26 the final result reflected a 29th win for the former champion.

The win also consolidated their lead at the summit of the conference standings as they are now two wins clear of the high-riding Brooklyn Nets who are in close pursuit with 27 wins.

They are however set to face the Nets in a top-of-the-table clash on Thursday, following their game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday.
