Reggae Girl and Manchester City striker, Kadijah ‘Bunny’ Shaw, will be back in action on Sunday when City faces Womens’ Super League (WSL) leader Arsenal at the Manchester City Academy Stadium, Manchester.
Shaw, who netted twice to help rally the Citizens in a comeback 3-1 victory over Bristol City in the FA Cup quarters on Wednesday, will be looking to carry that form to the league against the lady ‘Gunners’.
The 24-year-old has been progressively improving in the past three weeks, having been heavily part of goal involvements whether scoring or creating assists. Involvements that have seen them unbeaten in their last four WSL games.
League leader Arsenal, on the other hand, has been inconsistent comparatively, dropping five points in their last four games which includes defeat in their most recent fixture.
A win for the Gunners will see them extend their stay at the summit with 28 points, however, a City victory will move them to 22 points and up to fourth if other results go their way.
Game time is set for a 1: 45 pm EST kick-off.
