A showdown between 2024 Olympic 110m hurdles medalist Rasheed Broadbell, newly crowned champion Grant Holloway, and 2020 Gold medalist Hansle Parchment will be among the headline acts at the Lausanne Diamond League in Switzerland.
The trio have officially been confirmed for the August 22 meeting, setting up an exciting repeat of the Olympic finals as the Diamond League circuit returns following the recently concluded Paris games.
Fireworks are also expected in the women’s 100m Hurdles with Jamaica’s national Ackera Nugent, countrywoman 2023 World Champion- Danielle Williams listed to compete against Olympic bronze medalist Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Cuba among other finalists.
In the longer distance, Jamaica’s Rushell Clayton, Janieve Russell and Shian Salmon test their mettle when they contest the women’s 400m hurdles.
Long Jump Olympic silver medalist Wayne Pinnock, former World Champion- Tajay Gayle and World Champs finalist Carey McLeod have committed to the event where they’ll face Olympic gold medalist Miltiadis Tentoglou of Greece.
Lamara Distin will be the lone Jamaican in the vertical jump while sprinting sensation Tia Clayton will lace up her Spikes in the women’s 100m with Natoya Goule-Toppin lining up the in 800m.
