Jamaica’s Tourism leadership has been very active in the international marketplace despite the ravages of the COVID-19 pandemic. That continuous presence and activity have been credited for the surge in bookings for destination Jamaica and the now 17 flights per week between the UK and Jamaica by British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, and TUI.
British Airways Executives in London, England, informed Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett and his senior officials noted that they are noticing increased bookings for the weeks and months ahead for their five flights per week between London Gatwick and Jamaica.
The airline noted that increased bookings by tourists and families visiting shows that Jamaica is among the most in-demand destinations in the Caribbean.
