New York-based rapper Bobby Shmurda has responded to allegations of being gay following the posting of a provocative video of him in bed with two persons, one of whom some fans speculate is a man.
In the now-viral video which was posted by Bobby on his Instagram page, it shows him sandwiched by two persons under the sheets. However, the individual in question had their face partially revealed which fans reacted to as having male features.
Bobby later took the gram to address the rumors saying that the narrative about his sexuality was a deliberate plot to undermine his character in an attempt to sabotage his upcoming tour.
“When the hate doesn’t work, they start telling lies,” the post read along with laughing emojis.
“That’s why y’all still broke after all these years. You spend your time on bullsh*t and cap to make y’all feel better. Tap into reality, go get you some Shmoney #viralpostm” he captioned the now-deleted post.
He later followed up with another post to emphasize his views on the matter
“Tour is coming up and the labels always showed me how they control and work any narrative they want and control media to an extent.” Bobby added, “How much do the bots cost you all? I just made $200K last week. I’m trying to buy some sh** cause ya’ll odeee yang sucking. I can’t boom the internet, so have fun ”the post ended.

Despite some fans still unconvinced that the person in his bed was a female, he seems to be trying to steer attention back to his ‘Bodmon’ tour which is set to kick off on October 10.
