The unwavering global appetite for Bob Marley & The Wailers’ music remains as his 1973 classic “Stir It Up” was Brit-certified Gold for sales of 400,000 units in the UK.

The British Phonographic Institute verified the updated status of the Reggae classic on Friday.

The revision comes four years after the single was awarded silver certification for sales of at least 200,000 in the territory.

It’s also Marley’s 26th gold plaque in the UK and his fourth certification this year including his double platinum award for “Could You Be Loved” and his silver awards for “Exodus“ and “Satisfy My Soul” respectively.
