Reggae fans globally got their first look at the upcoming Bob Marley biopic-Bob Marley: One Love, following the release of the official trailer on Thursday.

The highly anticipated film which chronicles the life of the King of Reggae, is the first major studio dramatization of the story of the musical icon.

The 2:58 seconds teaser showed gripping bits of key points in the film inspired by turning points throughout his career including the gun attack on his life as well as his decision to return to the island to perform at the famous One Love Peace concert.

The trailer also gives fans their first introduction as to how accurately British actor Kingsley Ben-Adir delivered on the role of Gong himself.

The Paramount pictures produced films which also stars fellow brit- actress Lashana Lynch who plays wife-Rita Marley is set for a 2024 release.

While a specific date has yet to be shared in the trailer, IMDb posted a January 12, 2024 post production date on its website.
