Pop stars Beyoncé Knowles and Kelly Rowland are reportedly giving back to their hometown, Houston Texas – in a big way, by building housing units for the homeless.
Officials this week announced at a press conference that the original Destiny Child singers are joining forces with Harris County to build 31 permanent housing units in Houston, Texas.
The Harris County Officials revealed that $7.2 million will be paid towards the collaboration in American Rescue Plan funds.
While Beyonce is on her Renaissance tour, the project’s big launch is set to begin at the end of the tour in September this year.

This according to reports is one of many things both Beyonce and Kelly intend to do for Houston.
