The Reggae Boyz will have another representative in the English Premier League (EPL) after defender Amari’i Bell and his Luton Town FC secured promotion to the English top flight on the weekend.

Bell played an integral role in helping Luton qualify as one of the three teams to move up from the championship division on the weekend.

The defender, who made his international debut for Jamaica against USA in 2021, beamed with pride as he celebrated the team’s success with his Jamaican flag.

Bell also expressed his anticipation to play in the English league’s top flight. He shared this via the club’s social media during Luton’s celebratory procession throughout the city on Monday.

Bell will now rub shoulders with country-mate Leon Bailey of Aston Villa, Westham United’s Michail Antonio as well as Bobby Reid of Fulham FC.

With the official appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as Chelsea’s new boss on Monday, it could also see teen sensations Omari Hutchinson and Dujuan ‘Whisper’ Harris who joins the club next season.

The additional Premier League experience within the Reggae Boyz squad is expected to boost their potency and confidence in the rebuilding process for the next World Cup cycle, starting with the upcoming Gold Cup and CONCACAF Nation’s league tournaments.

Bell, could feature again for the Boyz next month when their Gold Cup tournament kicks off against the US on June 24.
