A 25-year-old man was stabbed to death by a woman said to be a janitor at his home in Doyle Way, Kingston 12 on Monday November 28.

The deceased has been identified Ramone Patterson, otherwise called ‘Six Boss’.

According to police reports at around 11:15 a.m., Patterson was at home when the accused Cassia Murry came to the house unannounced and discovered a female.

It is understood that an argument developed between the two which escalated into a fight. During the fight, it is reported that Murry pulled a knife from her waist and repeatedly stabbed Patterson before escaping.

Subsequently, Patterson was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Shortly after, Murry turned herself over to the police where she was arrested and charged with murder.

The victim’s father also outlined that numerous reports have been made to the police about the accused physically assaulting Patterson on a daily basis, however these reports he underscored were seldom taken seriously.

He further noted that one report was taken seriously a few months ago when the accused was arrested after she allegedly stabbed him in one of his arms. The matter was taken to court, but it’s understood that the victim withdrew the charges.
