“I’m sitting in bed watching TV with boxers on,” singer Ashanti gushed as she playfully recalled fiance rapper Nelly‘s surprise proposal.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight (ET), the “Foolish” singer detailed the events leading up to the moment.

A blissful-looking Ashanti also expressed contentment in the relationship, noting that she would not have predicted being proposed to by Nelly following their initial break up, ET reports.

The couple officially got back together last year following a ten-year split. While a wedding date has yet to be revealed Ashanti noted that it would be after she gives birth to their first child together.
