As anxiety continues to mount ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl, more so of its halftime show’s headliner Rihanna, show sponsor Apple Music dropped a Barbados-inspired pre-championship ad to celebrate her journey from a talented young dreamer to a global icon.
The ad, which was released on Thursday, is titled “Run This Town” – The Road to Halftime starts on Rihanna Drive.

It pays homage to the humble childhood of the Bajan-born megastar to her now Juggernaut status leading up to her epic return at the Super bowl.
The 1:27 second video satirically showcases a reenactment of a child version of Riri during her primary school years confidently emoting her ambitions of being a star despite her humble upbringing in Barbados which has been renamed Rihanna drive in her honor.
The advertisement which was crafted around her hit single-‘Run this town’ with Jay z emphasizes that Riri has always had a boss since birth.
The Fenty boss who has been elevated to National Hero status by her homeland last year has clearly made a deliberate effort to include her country’s representation in her highly anticipated return to one of the biggest stages in music.
The Right Honorable Robyn Rihanna Fenty, who has not done a live show in six years, has kept the track list for Superbowl set tightly guarded which has only added to the anticipation of the event itself.
