KINGSTON, Jamaica — A teenage boy is facing charges of shop breaking and larceny, following an incident in Duanvale District, Trelawny, last Monday.
Reports are that about 9:30 am, a business owner securely locked her establishment and went home. The following morning, she realised that her place of business was broken into and $40,000 worth of liquor and cash were stolen.
The Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) footage was reviewed and the suspect was seen entering the shop. The business owner was able to identify the suspect who was taken to the station last Friday, by his parents. He was subsequently charged.
His court date is being finalised.
