Jamaican cuisine has again stamped its mark among world-class foods after the island’s very own “Stush in the Bush” was ranked among the top 50 Best Restaurants in North America of 2025.

The highly anticipated list, which was unveiled on Thursday night, saw the St. Ann-based eatery, which is owned and operated by husband and wife Christopher and Lisa Binns, as the only Caribbean restaurant to break into the top 50, coming in at 49, bettering hundreds of candidates categorised in the region.

Nestled in the cool hills of St. Ann, the plant-based spot serves up delicious dining experiences that are a true paradise in both taste and location.

The award-winning restaurant received top marks for its all-natural composition, from the atmosphere to the plating and, of course, the food, which comes directly from their own garden or neighbouring farms. The Labour of love is undoubtedly a special sauce that adds to the charm and warmth of the space, which is reflected in the standout quality of the food, which has continued to prove it’s among world-class dining.
