The increasingly viral global popularity of the Skillibeng and Shenseea featured “Shake It To The Max” remix by Moliy and Silent Addy has been reaffirmed after officially going gold in France.
The French music certification body confirmed the track’s status via their social media on Monday.
This adds to the already impressive haul of the song’s success, which has qualified for Gold Status in the US, with the original also snagging silver certification in the UK.
The French certification is one of the more to come, reflective of an unfettered expansion of the track’s mass appeal, having appeared on almost all relevant major charts (including US Billboard Hot 100) and playlists across both Apple and Spotify.
Given its continued overwhelming popularity, it would make itself a strong contender for Grammy Consideration for a few singles-related categories.
