As the local entertainment fraternity continues to remember the legacy of the late Morgan Heritage lead singer Peter Morgan, here are six of the iconic reggae group’s best releases.

One of the more recent releases by the group is this gritty and harding-hitting social commentary about the current criminality and societal deterioration. The track was perfectly complimented by collaborators I-Octane, Rytikal and Jahshii, who added that extra dancehall edge to underscore that message.

Down by The River

Arguably one of the group’s most recognised releases, this early 2000 track is a mellow yet spiritually compelling delivery of gratitude and peaceful reflection, signalled by an almost communal description of spending time along the river.

Another anthemic release from the family band, this single touts the importance of upright livity as the more significant identifier of Rastafarianism than the symbolic loc’ed hair appearances.
