Reggae Boyz midfielder Omari Hutchinson was again the lynchpin for English Championship team Ipswich Town after coming off the bench to score the game-winner in their dramatic 4-3 win over Rotherham in league action.

Hutchinson, a 67’th minute substitute, delivered the all-important strike in the 95th minute to cap a superb performance by the midfielder in what was a see-saw encounter, producing seven goals.

The Jamaican showed composure under pressure after receiving a cutback pass from teammate Jackson inside the box before calmly turning to deliver a well-placed low drive at the near post of Rooterdam’s goal to raise the roof with an extra-time stunner.

His extra-time goal moments before Cafu’s equalizing penalty in the 94th minute threatened to split the points after Wes Burns’ first-half brace in the 9th and 29th minutes, along with a Keiffer Moore strike in the 14th minute wiped out Tom Eave’s 2nd-minute opener for Rotherham.

Hutchinson’s inclusion, however, added more attacking depth to Ipswich’s final third as he maintained a persistent presence up front and was rewarded with the crucial goal.

His game-winner adds to a streak of standout performances for the on-loan Chelsea player who has now registered a goal and two assists in the last ten days for Ipswich, including his match-saving equaliser in the 98th-minute in their 1-1 draw against West Brom last week.
