Janine Cunningham more popularly known as Jah9, whose music is mainly described as “jazz on dub” because of her hard-hitting lyric spitting of life truths, is twisting things up as she aims to be a bit softer for 2024.

The deep-rooted Rastafari artiste connected with SLEEK entertainment and explained what a ‘softer Jah9’ would be.

For 2024, Jah9’s music will echo that of ‘Janine’, showing the world her personal experiences and that of now being a mom.

All these changes of a softer Jah9 will be a part of an album she is working on this year.

Meanwhile, Jah9 is slated to perform in Jamaica on February 24 at the Protoje-produced Lost In Time Festival.
