Jamaican sprint sensation Brianna Lyston logged a personal best at Louisiana State University (LSU) during the women’s 60-meter record to win the final at the Arkansas “Razorbacks” invitational indoor track meet in Arkansas on Saturday.
Lyston, 19, clocked a new best of 7.07 seconds to stamp her authority in a competitive lineup.
The former Hydel star showed power and control, transitioning from her drive phase to a full sprint at 35 meters before pulling away in a picture of absolute dominance to take a comfortable win.
In addition to setting a new personal best, the Jamaican also etched her name into LSU history after equalling the school record, which she now jointly holds with American sprint star Aleia Hobbs.
