Following a slew of successes from 2023, the African Giant Burna Boy will create history on February 4 as he has been added to the 2024 Grammys performer lineup.

The announcement was made late Sunday (January 21) by the Recording Academy via their official X (formerly Twitter) account.

Back at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, the Nigerian won the Grammy award for Best Global Music album. For the 66th staging, he is nominated once again for the same award and three others; Best African Music Performance, Best Global Music Performance and Best Melodic Rap Performance.

Throughout 2022, Burna Boy has been seen as the main Afro-beats act via his world tour – selling out stadiums, dropping major hits, and selling more digital records in the genre.

Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Travis Scott, Luke Combs, and Olivia Rodrigo will be the other performers at the 66th staging of the Grammy Awards show.

It will be hosted by TV host & comedian Trevor Noah.
