Dancehall diva, D’Angel says “War is in the air” as she released her latest song titled “War Angel” as she classifies herself as the “baddest” thing in Jamaica while taking jabs at several top artistes.
For her, the title is fitting as she told SLEEK ent, “I’m a warrior Angel bold, confident and undefeated so there could be no other way.” She also stated that many have tried to lock her out of dancehall for years but she is standing strong.
The song was written by herself, Rozarro, and Grammazone, and produced by Heights of Heights Records
Throughout the song she mentions several names in dancehall, from Demarco, Alkaline, Foota Hype and Bounty Killer however she underscores that it’s all a musical war for her.
“The song is very straightforward and speaks for itself anybody the cap fit wears it.”
D’Angel further stated that she and her team are working on a possible video and will provide the details soon.
For the rest of the year into 2024, she said, she will be releasing new music. She also gave the Sleek team a preview of another track titled “Rich Dolly” which will have an accompanying video soon.
