Dancehall star Teejay is set to join rap stars Rick Ross, Jadakiss and Saweetie as part of the upcoming AFROTECH Music weekend lineup in Austin, Texas.
The music weekend forms part of the entertainment component of the Afrotech Conference, which is slated to run from November 1-5.
Teejay’s performance is set to take place on the event’s opening night on November 3, where he will also ‘share stage’ with afrobeat star Pheelz.

The addition to the lineup adds to an increasingly successful year for the ‘Rags to Riches’ hitmaker, who has scored one of the biggest hits of the summer with his billboard-charting single “Drift.”

The DJ MAC-produced track cracked into Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop charts in October after debuting at number 47. ‘Drift,’ which has grown into a viral sensation, has racked up over 13 million streams on his YouTube channel alone.
Teejay gave a glimpse of his international pull during his performance at the Amazura in New York for his birthday over the weekend.
