Rap sensation Sexyy Red says she is “heartbroken” about the release of her sex tape and denies any involvement in the explicit content being shared to her Instagram stories on Wednesday night.

Red reacted to the leak via X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday morning.

The reactions to the leaked video appeared to be a mixture of disgust and humour, as many users called it a ‘cap’ on how she described her body in her lyrics, referencing her now-infamous “Coochie Pink” line from her hit “Pound Town 2.”

This is the second such scandal involving the “Skake Yo Dreads” singer, who recently faced criticism about the type of men she entertains after footage of her sleeping in bed was shared by one of her alleged “side dudes” during his Instagram live.

Red, who has been one of the breakout rap acts this year, recently scored her first Billboard number-one track with her viral hit “SkeeYee.”

The single, which was released in June, has racked up over 17 million streams on her YouTube channel.
