It has been confirmed that the runway at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St. James, has been temporarily closed and flights have been redirected to the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston.
In a statement, Montego Bay Jamaica (MBJ) Airports Limited says there will be no flight operations for a few hours.
MBJ Airports Limited added that it is working to resolve some issues and will provide further updates.
The statement was issued Thursday morning, and the company says all departing passengers should check-in for their flights as normal.
