According to the Association of Media Professionals (AMP) sports issued poll, Football, Track and Field, and Netball are now Jamaica’s most popular sports ahead of Cricket and other sports.

The poll was conducted by Dr. Paul Bourne and Conroy Julian who have indicated that there is a margin of error of 2.5 percent.

It covered all 14 parishes with a sample size of 2660 – 2246.

The data was collected between June 13, and 24.

Meanwhile, this is seen as good news for the Jamaica Netball Association as they prepare to send the national team to the Vitality Netball World Cup slated for Cape Town, South Africa from July 28 to August 6, 2023.
