Spice, Skillibeng, Cutty Ranks, and Dexta Daps are set to bring the Dancehall flavor to the BET Awards after being listed among the performers at this year’s staging set for (tonight) Sunday.

Spice, Dexta, and Cutty will be part of a tribute performance dedicated to Jamaican-born rap icon Busta Rhymes, who will be honored with this year’s BET Lifetime achievement award.

Skillibeng however, is set to be among the special guest appearances at the show. He shared the news via his Instagram stories on Saturday.

His performance will cap off an active weekend following his appearance at the St Kitts & Nevis Music Festival where he was among the headlining acts on last Friday’s opening day of the event.

Jamaican music was previously given its highlight on the Awards Show in 2013 which saw an all-star line-up of musicians representing the eras of Dancehall and Reggae which is arguably one the most memorable performances in the show’s history.

Icons such as Dawn Penn, Shaka Demus & Pliers, Elephant Man, and Beenie Man were among those who paid homage to Jamaican culture.

Tonight’s line-up representing Jamaica will no doubt deliver and will definitely be unforgettable for the culture.
