The thanksgiving service for well-respected music manager Claudette Kemp has been set for Wednesday, July 19 at the Boulevard Baptist Church, 2 Washington Boulevard.
She was the manager for reggae artist Capleton, who made the announcement about her funeral via social media.
He said, “Miss Kemp was an extraordinary woman, my second mom and manager for 21-plus years. We give thanks for her professionalism and work. Love you, Mom.”
The service will begin at 2 p.m.
Miss Kemp passed away on June 9, after a prolonged battle with kidney ailments.
She is one of the few female managers in the music industry and has been lauded for her humanitarianism as she and the “Fireman” have helped many locally and internationally.
