Recording artiste Busy Signal received a U.S. certificate of special recognition for outstanding service to the music community and also from New York City and the Guyana Independence Celebration Comittee in New York.

The artiste shared pictures from the awards presentation via his socials and extended his appreciation.

Busy was honoured by Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke who made the presentation along with Congressman Hakeem Jeffries and Democratic Leader in the United States Congress, Mr. Rickford Burke.

He was given a congressional certificate of special recognition as well as the congressional proclamation.

The dancehall artiste was also given the Kaieteur Award of Distinction by the Guyana Independence Celebration Comittee in New York.
