American Hip hop artiste Chance the Rapper continues to advance plans for Jamaica to host the next staging of the Black Star Line festival after meeting with local officials on Wednesday.
Chance who has been soaking up the Jamaican entertainment scene over the weekend met with the Minister of Entertainment, the Honorable Olivia ‘Babsy’ Grange.
Minister Grange shared via social media that the two conversed about furthering key strategies on the “Entertainment possibilities”.
The ‘No Problems’ hitmaker also paid a courtesy call to the US Ambassador Nick Perry at the US Embassy in Jamaica, to discuss adding to the cultural and entertainment value of the island through his planned endeavor.

The Chicago native had first initiated talks about the festival earlier in March after meeting with Tourism Minister, the Hon. Edmund Bartlett in Jamaica.
Chance, who turned 30 on Sunday, has been celebrating his birthday in Jamaica, including feting at Carnival in Jamaica before hosting his B-day bash at the popular event ‘Uptown Mondaze.’
