Popcaan among top acts set for Afro Nation fest in Portugal

Popcaan will be among the major acts set to perform at the upcoming Afro Nation Festival which is set for July 28-30 at the Algarve Portimão, Portugal.

Popcaan is set to take the stage on the festival’s opening night- Wednesday, June 28 alongside afrobeat stars- Arya Starr, Oxdale, and the night’s headliner Burna Boy.

Poppy, who has two released songs with Burna is likely to link up during the event to perform their collabs- Toniann-Singh and or Aboboyaa.

The Unruly boss who delivered a well-received surprise appearance at the Lost in Time Festival on Saturday (February 25) previously performed with the African giant as co-headliner at the Burna Boy Live concert in December at the National Stadium, Kingston Jamaica.  

Other performers slated for the Afro Nation festival include day two’s headline act, Wiz Kid on Thursday; with Davido and 50 cent closing out the final day’s proceedings on Friday, July 30.

Popcaan is still in promotion mode for his recently released album Great Is He which includes features from OVO boss Drake, Toniann Singh, and of course Burna himself.
