It was an epic return for Rihanna at Sunday’s Super Bowl LVII championship final following her blockbuster performance at the halftime show and an even bigger reveal of her pregnancy in Glendale, Arizona.
The performance which saw Rihanna make her return to the live stage for the first time in seven years was arguably one of the most hyped halftime events in the championship’s history.
Anxious fans and neutrals would have gotten more than they bargained for, as the hit-laden set was complimented by gravity-defying stage production and pyrotechnics which had the stadium in amazement during the entirety of the show.
From floating stages to engaging choreography, RiRi went all out to ensure the entertainment value was maximized, fitting for a royal return.
By the crowd’s response, the Fenty boss hit every beat, caught every note, and kept all attention.
However, while, the performance itself was engaging it was a non-music-related observation that virtually stole the headlines, as the Bajan-born beauty revealed what was a baby bump during her set to send fans into a frenzy.
Riri, who opened her set by rubbing her tummy, had fans in between emotions as they reveled in the performance while processing the possibility of another Fenty baby on the way.
The surprise only added to the ecstasy of the excitement during the show.
Speculations were quickly quelled as reports by Rihanna representatives confirming her pregnancy which went on to break the internet multiple times
The news of course was met with much fanfare as Rihanna now looks to welcome her second child with her boyfriend rapper ASAP Rocky.

The couple recently welcomed their firstborn last year following a surprise reveal via a photoshoot in New York.
A glowing Rihanna, fashionably showed off her bump alongside Rocky as the then-parents-to-be looked simply in love in anticipation for their first child.

While this year’s reveal was more in real-time, it’s yet to be confirmed how far along she is in her pregnancy.
At a glance from videos and picture it however appears to be between 2-3 months along.
Fans did however share some concerns over the news in regards to new music as several users theorize that her highly anticipated album R9 may be further pushed back.
Riri has not released an album since her 2016 drop ‘Anti’ but has over the years, teased of a new project coming “soon”.
However, with the pregnancy, some fans seem lost to an actual timeline for the release.
The project is said to be a Heavily Reggae-inspired album and has seen her recruit a number of top Reggae and Dancehall producers such as Dunwell, and Steven Di genius McGregor to name a few.
