A 38-year-old man has been charged in connection with the shooting death of his brother in Mike Town, Manchester on Thursday, January 19.
The accused, Lemone Brown, a carpenter of Love Lane, Mike Town in the parish has been charged with the murder of 48-year-old Michael Brown, also of a Mike Town, Manchester address and Waterford, England.
It is reported that around 12:20 a.m., Brown was in an unfinished room when he was pounced upon by a lone gunman later identified as Lemone who immediately opened fire hitting him multiple times before escaping.
The police were later summoned, and the victim was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police have also theorized that Brown’s death could be linked to an ongoing land feud. After the investigation was concluded the accused was apprehended and later charged.
In the interim, a court date is being arranged.
