LeBron James dropped 46 points against the LA Clippers on Tuesday to become the first player in NBA history to score at least 40 points against all 30 teams in the league.

The LA Lakers were playing host to city neighbors LA Clippers at the Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles.

James, 38, who’s playing in his 20th year, exemplified the phrase- “class is forever”, after posting a game-high 46 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists in an almost one-man show against the Clippers.

Only Russell Westbrook-17 points and Thomas Bryant-15 points were the only other Lakers players to score double digits in yet another underwhelming display by the former champions.

Despite the game being a one-sided encounter with the Clippers leading by as much as 20 points, James maintained his poise to influence moments of fightback to bring the game to within 10 points in the fourth quarter.

However, it was only so much the 4-time NBA champion could do following his historic feat, as the Clippers utilized team involvement to nullify James’ impact.

They managed gradually add to their lead, and eventually won by 18 points-133-115.

Despite claiming a significant landmark James’ performance on the night has brought him closer to another all-time record as the league’s very best.

The Billionaire Baller is not just 178 of NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record of 38,387 points- the most all-time points scored.
