As the public continues to debate the innocence of rapper Tory Lanez, a week after his conviction in the shooting case of Megan Thee Stallion, damning audio of what seems to be Tory’s conversation with her former best friend Kelsey, has begun to circulate online.

On Friday morning a series of leaked audio hit the net which appeared to be a recorded conversation between the Toronto native and the former best friend of the Houston-born Hot girl whom he’s heard apologizing for an incident.

The phone call which appears to be from inside police detention was also a reference by the prosecution among the evidence in the recent trial in December.

“I know she prolly never gonna talk to me ever again but bruh I just want you to know i was just so f*&king drunk, i did not even know what the f–k was going on bro dead ass” he said “…I’d never do some sh– like that, was just so f–king drunk i didnt understand what the f–k was going on”.”

The male voice, which is presumed to be Tory’s, is heard asking about Meg’s health as he profusely apologizes for something.

“Rgardless that’s not gonna make anything right and that’s not gonna make my actions right but I’m sorry bruh I never move like that bruh, like for real”.

He’s also heard asking the female presumably Kelsey about the hospital’s location, an argument, and perhaps most crucially referring to gunfire, noting his intoxication during the incident.

While the seemingly self-incriminating recordings, on the surface level, do seem to match up with the stated events around Meg’s shooting, the apology, does not seem to specifically show him admitting to being the shooter.

The recording instead created a complex case of insinuation versus an actual admission; a point which both the prosecution and defense would have vigorously argued along with other evidence.

The released audio stirs the pot of public opinion further after Tory’s father Sonstar Peterson made bold accusations of buried evidence and unethical practices by the defense following the court’s ruling.

Tory whose legal team is said to be pursuing the appeal channel is currently being remanded until his sentencing in January. He faces up to 22 years behind and deportation to Canada.
